Overview
B FIT Exercise & Nutrition’s “Youth Fitness” programs provide a healthy alternative for youths looking to stay fit. Programs are designed to provide education, physical activity, positive motivation and fun for youths ages 6 through 17. Youth obesity rates have nearly doubled in the past decade; our children are consuming too much sugar, too many empty calories, and not enough fresh fruits and vegetables. Because of this, our children are at greater risk of developing degenerate diseases like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and stroke at a much younger age. B FIT seeks to engage children in exercise and nutritional development in order to establish and promote natural yet effective lifelong habits. Physical activity in childhood adolescence helps:
- Build stronger bones and muscles
- Control weight
- Reduce anxiety and stress
- Increase self esteem
- Reduce the risk of premature diseases
- Improve balance and coordination
- Improve strength and cardiovascular fitness
S.M.I.L.E.
(Strong Minds Indifferent of Learning Expectations)
Looking for a creative, fun educational experience then S.M.I.L.E. fitness 4 kids is here for you. This class will incorporate fun physical activities and exercise in accordance with a one of a kind educational experience that stresses the importance of good health. Course topics will include:
- Nutritional Awareness
- Physical Activity and Exercise
- Healthy Snack Preparation
- Food Selection
- Potential Illnesses and health risk
- Preventative measures and resolutions
Teen Weight Training (14+)
This introductory course will educate kids on proper lifting techniques and regimen training. It encompasses a total body workout for those looking to build muscular strength and to establish a base for future training.
Body Basics (4 Teens)
A perfect after school workout that incorporates a blend of cardiovascular conditioning, muscle toning, and balance development using various forms of movement. A 60 minute total body workout structured to increase metabolic speed, activity, muscular strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
