Flexibility and Core Training
The “core” consists of many different muscles that stabilize the spine and pelvis and run the entire length of the torso. The muscles of the core make it possible to stand upright, control movements, transfer energy, shift body weight and move in any direction. A strong core distributes the stresses of weight-bearing and protects the back by providing a solid foundation for movement in extremities. This program is designed with the active older adult in mind. This is a basic, easy to follow workout designed to improve posture, core strength and stability. This program aims to increase full range of motion by correcting postural imbalances that can lead to injuries.

Massage Therapy
Are you suffering from a fast paced life with an ongoing chase to meet deadlines? Are you consistently tired, stressed, or tense? Then allow B FIT’s massage therapy programs to help you unwind and enjoy that piece of mind that we all crave. Massage therapy is recognized as one of the most practical, useful and effective forms of physical medicine, with references in medical texts dating nearly 4,000 years old. It is known to have purely positive effects on your body that can help improve mood control, relief of stress, pain control, and relaxation. Massage therapy applies numerous healing variations and can be performed by hand or instrument to aid circulation, to stimulate nerves, to relax muscles, or even to move the joints. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions and known to relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.
Aromatherapy
Many essential oils that are derived from plants, herbs, flowers, and roots have beneficial therapeutic qualities. Aromatherapy involves the "burning" of essential oils to elicit a desired effect; for example, lavender is known to induce calmness and relaxation. When combined with bodywork, aromatherapy can enrich the massage experience immensely.
Chair Massage
Chair massage, also known as seated massage, is one of our most popular options. Clients remain fully clothed and treatments generally last anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Chair massage is usually limited to the back, neck and arms. This massage can be administered onsite at various locations, including health fairs, airports, shopping malls and in corporate settings.
Deep-Tissue Massage
Deep-tissue massage utilizes slow strokes, direct pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles with the fingers, thumbs or elbows. Deep-tissue massage works deeply into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic aches and pains; its purpose is to reach the fascia beneath the surface muscles. This technique is useful in treating chronic pain, inflammation and injury.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
NMT is massage applied to specific muscles, often used to increase blood flow, release knots of muscle tension, or release pain/pressure on nerves. This therapy is also known as “trigger-point therapy” in that concentrated finger pressure is applied to "trigger points" to alleviate muscular pain.
Orthopedic Massage
Orthopedic massage combines several massage and medical massage techniques to treat pain and soft-tissue injury. It focuses heavily on injury assessment and rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of selecting the appropriate modality to treat the injury. Orthopedic massage is often used in conjunction with sports massage protocols.
Sports Massage
Sports massage therapies are both preventative and therapeutic, and used for athletes during warm ups, training and competition to treat and/or aid in the prevention of injuries; help improve flexibility, range of motion, and performance; and aid in mental clarity.
Swedish Massage
Generally regarded as the most common form of massage, Swedish massage involves a combination of five basic strokes and concentrates on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for improved circulation, relaxation, pain relief, and overall health maintenance and well-being.
Posture Pedic

This program is based on simple, functional, and easy to follow movements that incorporate various methods of strength and flexibility training. It seeks to improve balance, posture, agility, and coordination. Posture Pedic is specifically designed to cater to the needs of the mature, older adult in the efforts to help improve upon general strength, cardio fitness, and range of motion.
