To be an all-star, it is important that you first establish a base of fundamental skills in order to effectively progress as a player. Fundamentals are essential to peak performance and serve as a foundation for many relative skills such as muscle memory and coordination. B FIT’s Hoop-Stars Basketball Training Camp provides a prospective outlet for young athletes looking to improve their current athletic performance. More times than often, coaches spend more time teaching “plays” instead of teaching athletes how to play. “Plays” are great for organizational purposes, but it is far more important to understand the relevance of your position and how it affects the other players on the floor. A player with this understanding will know how to move to get open, create proper spacing, passing angles, provide defensive help and much more. Athletes will be challenged through various mechanical, mental, and physical conditioning activities that will improve efficiency of movement, productivity, and overall functional athletic performance. Players will learn both offensive and defensive tactics including:
